In this session, we will be looking at how the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the cyber risk landscape, drawing from Hiscox’s claims experience and anecdotal examples during this period.

We will consider how a shift in working practices has created more vulnerabilities to be exploited, how criminals have adjusted to capitalise on these, what the impact is when it comes to handling incidents, and how companies can ensure they are best protected against the most common threats.

Stephen is the UK Cyber Underwriting Manager at Hiscox. With more than 9 years of experience specialising in cyber and data risks insurance, from both a broking and underwriting perspective, he is widely regarded as a thought leader in the field, and sits on the Cyber Committee for the Association of British Insurers. He regularly speaks at industry events and is frequently featured in both trade and national press.
