We all have aspirations, goals and dreams for the future, but how do we achieve them? This webinar will explain what Financial Planning is:

Introducing the different types of tax wrappers and their tax benefits, pensions basics & the cost of delay and also the different types of asset classes that you can invest into.

In the second part, Jessica will be showing you some tools to help you manage your own finances and finally show you how financial planners look at your personal “money bucket” to see how much money you might need to live the life that you want.

Learning Objectives

Following this webinar, delegates will be able to:

- Define the different types of tax wrappers and how these can help save on tax

- Understand how a pension works and the importance of the “cost of delay”

- Distinguish between the 4 main asset classes and to what level of risk

- How to use basic financial planning tools such as a budget planner or debt calculator

Jessica is a Qualified Financial Planner from Critchleys in Oxford. She won the 2019 Rising Star at The Women In Financial Advice awards and is a big advocate on educating young professionals about their finances.

This event is free to attend and open to both CII/PFS members and non-members.
