This workshop is designed to focus on the current position with respect to DB Transfer advice best practice.
Learning objectives (provisional):
- Understand the latest position from the FCA on regulatory requirements for DB advice arising from PS 18/6 and PS 18/20
- Discuss the possible direction of travel from the FCA on Contingent Charging
- Understand the new APTA and TVC requirements, the underlying assumptions, and discuss what best practice looks like
- Awareness of ongoing work by the FCA to assess suitability of DB advice
Attendance will be limited to allow interaction and peer group sharing.
