If you are Interested in joining the council and want to learn more or you just want a nice evening out please come along

The Annual General Meeting of the Insurance Institute of Shropshire and Mid Wales will be held at The Pheasant Inn in (Rowton Brewery) 54 Market St, Wellington, Telford TF1 1DT on Thursday 25th April 2019 at 5:45 pm and will this year be followed by our presidents evening hosted by your current President Mr Robin Melley.

Order of Play for the Evening

•AGM on the mezzanine in the brewery at the rear of the pub from 5.45pm until 6.15pm
•Tour of the brewery explaining the brewing process from 6.15pm until 6.45pm
•A pot of curry or casserole or chilli in the pub
•Sampling the beers and their range of craft gins and ciders

Nominations are requested for the Council in the prescribed form. Nomination Forms can be obtained from the Secretary to whom they should be returned as soon as possible.

PRESIDENT AND DEPUTY PRESIDENT

Under Rule 11 of the Constitution, the President and Deputy President are nominated by the Local Council for election at the Annual General Meeting.

HON SECRETARY, HON TREASURER, HON EDUCATION SECRETARY, HON CHARITIES REPRESENTATIVE

The Officers are members of the Local Council, with the exception of the Hon Charities Representative who is an ex-officio member, and are elected annually.

REMAINDER OF THE LOCAL COUNCIL MEMBERS

The remainder of the Local Council consists of Vice Presidents who are ex-officio members and then other members who are elected annually.

Cost: £5 Per Head for Memebers / £10 Per Head for Non-Members
