The Three Wise Insurance Execs: an Insurance Christmas

Wednesday, 16 December 2020
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (UK time)

With no Christmas parties for any of us this year we thought that we would offer our members and guests an extra webinar to spread some fun and festive cheer whilst providing some last minute learning to end the year.

We must remember that not all of us are going to be having an enjoyable Christmas this year and if you can make a donation (no matter how small) to support The Insurance Charities, please find details of how to do so at the bottom of this email.

Following on from the popular webinars presented by Jeff Heasman from Insurance Upskill on Communicating with Customers in Difficult and Uncertain Times and The Art of Disagreement, we welcome back Jeff Heasman to provide us with a fun, festive webinar on The Three Wise Insurance Execs: an insurance Christmas story and we invite all members & guests to attend this lunch time webinar.

Overview

This amusing and fun webinar will look at the magic of the Christmas story through the eyes of The Three Wise Insurance Execs, as they set out on their camels to reach The Lloyd´s Building in London, above which a guiding star shines brightly. The story will be narrated by Jeff Heasman, using specially commissioned artwork. 2020 has been challenging but this will be a story with an underlying message of positivity and hope! Just like the original Christmas story. So, let´s sign off our 2020 CPD programmes on a positive note with some serious learning but in a fun and amusing way … through the eyes of The Three Wise Insurance Execs in An Insurance Christmas Story.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • identify key events over the past year, how the insurance industry has adapted and the positives of the past year;
  • understand how these adaptations will influence the way we operate from 2020 onwards;
  • implement a strategy to deal with sudden and unexpected change.

The Insurance Institute of Southampton hope that you are enjoying the free webinars which we are putting on for you during this period when we are unable to offer face-to face seminars. Whilst we are unable to provide our well supported raffles in aid of The Insurance Charities during this time, we are continuing to support The Insurance Charities which is the charity for the UK & Irish insurance industry and which has been providing support for current and former employees and their dependants since 1902. If you would like to make a donation to this worthy cause, perhaps the cost of your raffle ticket or that longed for frothy coffee we have all been missing out on, then please visit our Virgin Money Giving Charity Page to offer your support: https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/fR8lCzpE2oSv8K4ioY6mG?domain=uk.virginmoneygiving.com.
