R05 Financial Protection - Thursday 29th September 2022 - THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED. YOU CAN BOOK FOR THE NEXT RO5 COURSE ON TUESDAY 22ND NOVEMBER.

The Personal Finance Society Hants and Dorset, Thames Valley and Surrey Regional Committees in association with the Insurance Institutes of Bournemouth, Guildford, Reading and Southampton have organised a training day for those members who are studying for and taking the RO5 examination.

This course is designed to help candidates feel more prepared for the exam. The content will cover the key areas of the syllabus and areas likely to be tested. There will also be a focus on exam style questions with clear debriefs to aid understanding.

This event will be run as an Online Distance Learning event.

The cost of the day’s training will be £99 for Hants & Dorset, Surrey and Thames Valley PFS members, £99 for all other PFS members and £109 for non-PFS members. There is a maximum of 16 attendees. If we are oversubscribed, you will be placed on a waiting list.

We reserve the right to cancel this event should there be less than 6 delegates attending. Should this occur a full refund or transfer to an alternative course will be offered and some supporting material, at no extra cost, will be sent to the enrolled delegates.

The trainer is highly experienced and qualified in the subject matter, and as importantly, in how to deliver an effective and productive online interactive training session, ensuring all candidates are fully engaged and maximise the learning experience.

The course is recorded and a copy sent out to all delegates.

• Life assurance policies

• Income Protection

• Critical Illness

• Business protection and other types of insurance

• Application and taxation considerations

By the end of the course, delegates will have covered the key elements of the CF6 syllabus and what is required to pass the examination.

Our 2021 online revision programme is being co-ordinated by Dean Scott and L&D Digital Solutions. The trainer, Giles Hewitt FPFS, a CII approved trainer, based in Cornwall who runs his own training consultancy and is a member of the L&D Digital Training Team.
