Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015

The Insurance Institute of Sussex is delighted to welcome Iain Salkeld of Crawford Surveying Services to speak to us about these new regulations which came into force in April this year.

These new regulations impact every part of the construction process, from concept to completion on what each party involved must or should do to comply with the law to ensure projects are carried out in a way that secures health and safety.

This is bound to be of interest to anyone involved in any form of construction or property insurance and by the end of the evening, delegates will understand:

• the main elements of the new regulations
• the main changes from the previous 2007 CDM
• the main duties for the appropriate parties
• how loss adjusters are applying the 2015 regulations regarding fulfillment, policyholders' own contractor and other options
