R08 Revision Session

Continuing our revision sessions for PFS members, the Insurance Institute of Sussex invites you to attend our next half-day workshop on Thursday 29 October 2015.

Mark King, Technical Consultant at Axa Wealth will lead the morning and he will focus on a number of key areas of the current R08 - Pensions Update syllabus (which will continue to be examined until 31 August 2016).

Learning Objectives
By the end of the session, delegates will be able to:

• explain the changes to the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) tax regime introduced by the Taxation of Pensions Act 2014

• explain the changes to pension income options

• explain the changes that will be made to State pension provision from 6 April 2016

• analyse the key factors that should be taken into account when advising a client how to derive an income in retirement

Combined, these topics account for nearly 75% of the questions that will be asked during your exam, so this is a great way to help prepare for this important paper.

Parking restrictions apply near to Nsure's offices from 9.00am onwards. Free on-street parking is available approximately 10 minutes' walk to the west of Worthing. There are also two multi-storey car parks nearby for which charges apply.
