Money Laundering

Clair Hall
Tuesday, 23 May 2017
5:30 pm – 7:00 pm (UK time)
    • Mike Mason

At this Insurance Institute of Sussex seminar, Mike Mason, barrister and forensic accountant, will be speaking to us about the impact that money laundering can have on both individuals and the wider society - a subject that needs to be understood and guarded against by all who work in financial services.

Using a case study, Mike will discuss how money laundering has worked alongside fraud to wreck lives and cost insurers a small fortune, before exploring the lessons that can be learned from this case.

Learning Objectives
By the end of the seminar, delegates will:

  • know how money laundering works alongside fraud, bribery and corruption
