How to succeed in high stakes conversations
This talk isn't about "talkin' proper", it's about building your intuitions to talk more skillfully to get the job done.
Just about everything you need to get done at work involves talking skillfully. Whether you are selling a service, resolving conflict, managing high expectations, influencing stakeholders or negotiation a position, talking is the central tool.
This workshop shares top tips and tools to succeed in high stakes conversations and the language skill of top performers.
The event is free to CII/PFS members (£25 for non-members) and includes tea/coffee during the mid-afternoon break and an optional buffet lunch on arrival. If you would like to join us for this event, please click on the Book Now button below. (Please note, to benefit from the member rate, you will be required to provide your membership number at the time of booking.)
By the end of this workshop, delegates will be able to identify:
how to navigate the "hot buttons" and "micro politics" that kills or creates good relationships
how to create craft language that liberates or traps your thinking
how to get yourself ready for high stakes conversations
how to think faster and see more of what's going on in any conversation
There is plenty of free on-site parking at Clair Hall (you will need to obtain a permit from reception on arrival) and Haywards Heath Station is just a few minutes' walk away.
