Apr 30th - Objects from the Insurance Museum - Online Webinar
Title: Objects from the Insurance Museum
Presentation Overview:
A book from 1658 on insurance law, a ledger from Lloyd’s of London, detailing the movement of ships and goods and a metal plate with the Sun Fire Office’s logo on. These are some of the objects the Insurance Museum is planning to use in its exhibitions, workshops, events, and further down the line, a physical museum. What exactly do the objects tell us and how can we use them to tell the incredible story of insurance? This webinar will explore these questions along with a look at what a physical Insurance Museum will look like.
