NERG Seminar: Shaking up a century of insurance law: The Insurance Act

The Carriageworks
Wednesday, 21 September 2016
12:30 pm – 4:30 pm

The insurance institutes of the North East Regional Group present their annual half-day technical seminar, providing comprehensive and engaging CPD sessions plus networking opportunities.

This year's topic is hot off the press - with The Insurance Act having been in force for little over a month, this is a chance to hear from key practitioners and discuss early impact.

The Insurance Act also has big implications for financial advisers and providers involved in employee benefits. Employers need to be aware of the duty of fair presentation of the risk, guidance given in this area is vital. This event will give you valuable background information and an opportunity to network with general insurance professionals.

Book early to secure your place. Cost: £20.88 for CII/PFS and non-members, payment: online via Paypal using a credit or debit card or Paypal account; invoice by BACS or cheque.

Please contact sandra.mcdonald@cii.co.uk with any booking queries.
