I have worked in the insurance industry for over 30 years, starting my career in Bournemouth. Although I currently work in Southampton, I continued to be a member of the Bournemouth Institute and still live in the local area.
I am delighted to have been elected as President of the Insurance Institute of Bournemouth. It is a privilege to represent the Bournemouth insurance community and I'm really looking forward to helping develop and promote the good work we do locally.
I would like to thank our outgoing President Steve Close for the excellent work he has put in over the last year, in addition to all of the members of the Council for the time and effort they put in to keep our local institute functioning successfully.
During my Presidential year, we will continue to focus on education and the strong relationship we have with Bournemouth University. The Council are busy putting together a programme of events that will ensure you will have plenty of opportunities to network with your colleagues in the industry, as well as contribute to your own CPD.
