Your local institute

I am delighted to take on the role of President of the Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow, one of the oldest institutes in the UK with over 4,000 members.

A massive thank you to all our elected members on the Council and sub-committees; the work we do would not be possible without you. I look forward to working with you all over the next 12 months to continue the success of previous years.

We will, of course, continue to provide the same high level of events and learning opportunities as before. However, there will also be a renewed focus on catering to the PFS members of the IASG, who make up one-third of our membership. The first step in this will be to reinstate Club FS, led by Martin Hendry, our Deputy President.
