Young Achiever Award 2018

The Young Achiever Award is presented to recognise and acknowledge the outstanding achievement of young professionals in the local insurance and financial services industry.

It is presented in memory of Mike Henthorn, who worked in the local insurance industry for many years and was a well respected member of the business community. He was keen supporter of local charities and championed the development of younger professionals on the island.

The award is open to any member of the local institute, from junior staff through to senior managers and provides a fantastic opportunity to showcase the achievements of individuals that have made a real difference to their business.

The winner will be announced at our annual dinner in February next year where the finalists will be guests of the institute.

They will receive the coveted Young Achiever Award along with a cheque for £175.

Entries are invited from any member of the local institute, under the age of 30 (as of 1st January 2018) who works in the general insurance or financial services sectors on the island.

The applicant may nominate themselves or may be nominated by their manager/employer. If you would like to enter or nominate someone, please download & complete the nomination form below.

Current holder, Samantha Hall of Edgewater Associates Limited said: "I was delighted to be named as the Isle of Man’s Young Achiever for 2017. It was a great personal moment and one that I am very proud of".
