This year we’re doing something a little different and we're excited to invite you to come join us at Nottingham Castle on Friday 23rd for our Evening of Celebration.
We know the last few years have been challenging for everyone, we’ve had to find new ways to work and adapt to new ways of communication, but we think our local insurance industry should be proud of everything they’ve achieved and the successes we have continued to see throughout.
So, we wanted to show our appreciation for the support the NII members have shown us, and each other, since lockdown began in March 2020, to celebrate coming back together and to recognise our members who despite such challenging times have succeeded in achieving their Dip CII, ACII or FCII. We think there’s a lot to celebrate and we hope you do too.
Nottingham Castle is steeped in History and is much more than just an iconic landmark and historical site, it’s a living, breathing museum, which charts and protects Nottingham’s rich social and creative history, so where better to hold our first social event in 2½ years than here.
Our guests will have free access to explore the Castle and its grounds from 6pm, prior to coming together at 7pm in the Gallery to celebrate our members exam achievements during 2020-21 where we will present each Exam Success with a small congratulations gift and announce the top achievers (best performance) in General Insurance (Dip CII & ACII) & Personal Finance (ACII), who will each be presented with £150.
We will be serving a thank you drink and canapes during the presentation. (Soft drinks and additional drinks available throughout the night in the Terrace Bar at guests own cost)
Enjoy catching up with everyone, a Friday night tipple and music from a local artist in the Terrace Café throughout the evening.
As our way of thanking all the Nottingham Insurance Institute members, we are delighted to offer this event free of charge to you (our NII members) – simply enter your CII membership number during the booking process.
For the first time ever we are also delighted to extend the invitation for you to bring along an additional guest (partners, friends, family etc.) so that they too can share in the History of the Castle and see what a fantastic group the local insurance industry is. There will be a nominal charge of £15 for any guests or any non NII members.

Dress code - smart casual - think going out (the only thing we ask is no jeans or trainers please)
NB. In view of the costs involved in organising this event, please note that members who book but who do not attend on the evening will be charged £15 (unless cancelled 48 hours in advance). For paying guests, please note that unfortunately we can not provide a refund if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to the event.
