MO5 Revision Course - Insurance Law

This MO5 course is limited to 20 members and will be delivered over 2x three hour revision sessions which will cover all the main aspects of the CII diploma subject MO5 insurance law module.

The two intensive revision sessions are designed to help you develop your exam technique and knowledge for the MO5 insurance law module.

The sessions will not only cover the main areas of the syllabus but also what the examiner looks for in respect of both multiple choice and coursework, as well as an interactive opportunity to ask Alan about any areas of the syllabus where you may be stuck.

The sessions will run remotely, all you need is a computer.

The first session will run on Monday 11 October 09.30 – 12.30

The second session will run on Monday 01 November 09.30 – 12.30

Delegates MUST attend both sessions to participate in the course.

The MO5 revision course will cover the following:

  • The UK legal system
  • Law of tort
  • Law of contract
  • Law of agency
  • Insurable interest
  • Duty not to misrepresent/ fair presentation of risk
  • Proximate cause
  • Indemnity Subrogation and contribution
  • All the main case and statute law

Booking:

The course is limited to 20 members only to allow for maximum participation. Do not book if you cannot commit to attending both sessions. Due to the limited capacity, this event is only available to members of the following Insurance Institutes: Bedford & Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich, Luton, Norwich and Peterborough.

Please note: This event is a regional collaboration between the local institutes in the area. Your booking details will be shared with the Insurance Institute of Chelmsford and South Essex, which is acting as the host institute for this event.
