Dan Parkinson started researching Bitcoin while living through hyper-inflation in Lebanon for three years. Whilst living in Lebanon he also re-trained as a financial adviser. After a brief stint with one of the large restricted networks, Dan realised he wanted to discuss Bitcoin's benefits with his clients and he couldn't do this while restricted and regulated by the network. In April 2025 he launched The Bitcoin IFA to train financial advisers on Bitcoin and Digital Assets with the hope of reaching and benefitting the millions of families represented by financial advisers in the UK.
