Networking Breakfast & Storyhouse Presentation

Following the successful launch of the Cheshire & North Wales Professional network in 2019, I’d like to invite you to our first networking breakfast being held since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This event is being held at The Storyhouse in Chester, in partnership with the Chester & North Wales Society of Chartered Accountants, Chester Property Professionals and the Cheshire & North Wales Law Society.

This is a fabulous opportunity to hear from our speaker, Brendon Batson OBE, who is one of England’s pioneering black footballers, an executive of the Professionals Footballers Association, and a man who has worked tirelessly to eradicate racism from English football.

Topics to be covered are likely to include the “Windrush” generation, his playing career, his role in tackling racism and the strength of associations with reference to his experiences at the PFA.

Brendon lives in Spain. Consequently, it is possible that Brendon may be streamed live via Zoom on the big screen, depending on COVID and travel restrictions. If applicable, The Storyhouse see this as a great opportunity to showcase their audio visual equipment.
