The Insurance Society of Edinburgh is happy to announce that their next event will focus on PII and professional risk.

Professional indemnity insurance, often referred to as professional liability insurance or PI insurance, covers legal costs and expenses incurred in your defence, as well as any damages or costs that may be awarded, if you are alleged to have provided inadequate advice, services or designs that cause your client to lose money.

Learning objectives
By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:

- the regulatory context to the introduction of professional indemnity insurance
- professional indemnity and how it differs from other insurances
- current market issues in the context of recent risk exposures for insurers.

The event will be delivered by Calum MacLean, Risk Manager for Lockton LLP and Mark Gray Account Executive for Lockton LLP.
