While trying to manage and insure against risk on behalf of their clients, insurance brokers bear a lot of risk themselves from the extensive suite of duties they owe.

Join Alisdair Matheson from Brodies LLP as he guides you through the worst of the minefield, guides you through worked examples and then offers advice on how to avoid ending up a statistic.

Alisdair Matheson is a partner in the Insurance and Risk unit of Brodies’ top ranked litigation team. His practice consists mainly of litigating on professional negligence actions, many of which involve the construction industry. He has almost 20 years of commercial litigation experience and is accredited by the Law Society as a specialist in construction law and professional negligence. He is an active member of the IASG and the CII.
