Data breaches are now a fact of life- but how can business better manage the risks related to data breach and reduce significant cost than can result from them? Cyber Liability insurance has been available in the markets for many years.
however, most business seem unlikely to have heard of it or know that it exists. This course will provide an introduction to this class of insurance.
Objectives and content will include:
* Identifying which types of customer that could benefit from insurance against cyber risks
* describing the extent of cover provided by conventional insurance policies against cyber risks.
* Describing the policy cover, conditions and exclusions of specialist cyber risks insurance policies in the UK
