• Claims: Specialists in evaluating and providing solutions, ranging from simple to complex losses
• Recovery: Specialised attention to salvage and subrogation solutions helps reduce clients’ net losses and lower programme costs
• Technical risk management: From a multi-disciplined team of risk consultants, marine engineers, master mariners and logistics/supply-chain security specialists
• An e-trade product which allows limits of up to £2.5m any one conveyance with a £50m annual cap
• Choice of both annual and single consignment policies
• A new ‘best of breed’ ‘All Risks’ wording

Following the presentation there will be a question and answer session where participants can share their insights and thoughts.

Speaker Biography

Ben Woodman, Senior Speciality Lines Underwriter, Marine Cargo
Ben joined Allianz in 2010 working in Maidstone’s Small Business Team (SBT) for three years underwriting new and existing package polices. In 2013 Ben moved to the Specialty Lines team on a secondment where he worked on the project to deliver PI and D&O onto QuoteSME, returning to SBT in 2014 as a Senior Underwriter and local focal point for both products. More recently he has been a Business Developer in Maidstone’s branch looking after c.30 regional Brokers. Outside of work Ben is involved in the Mid-Kent CII institute and has been elected as President for 2016/17.
