"Tour De Leeds"
We would like to extend our gratitude to the insurance community of Leeds for your hospitality and generosity on Insurance Charities Day last Thursday.
With a nod to the Tour de France in Yorkshire this year, the fancy dress had a distinctly French flavour. Once again, we visited Leeds city centre offices to sell raffle tickets, with a prize of 25% of the takings. C'est magnifique!
The lucky winner of our French-themed raffle who walked away with 25% of the day's takings at £193.22 is Andy Voice of JLT.
There are still some last minute donations to come in, so we confirm the total in a forthcoming edition of Cover Notes; but at present the total raised for The Insurance Charities stands at £612.
