1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (UK time)

What will they mean for you?

Speaker: Edmund Conybeare, Everyman legal
Cost: Free of charge

The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) came into force on 6th April 2015.

CDM 2015 sets out exactly what people involved in construction work need to do to protect themselves. In addition, these regulations now apply to the events industry.

This one-hour lecture will outline the key changes which will effect the insured (and their responsibilities), and how you can best assist your clients with the transition.

Who should attend? This talk will be relevant to all brokers and insurers involved in construction, as we all as the events industry.

Learning objectives
By the end of the session, delegates will be able to discuss and explain:

  • Outline the key changes in CDM 2015 from the 2007 regulations
  • Discuss the nature in which these regulations now apply to the events industry
  • Describe the main differences between the CDM Co-ordinator function and the new role of Principal Designer
  • Discuss how CDM 2015 will effect the responsibilities of the insured
