9:00 am – 5:00 pm (UK time)

The Insurance Institute of Leeds (IIL) is offering you the chance to join a course specifically designed to help you develop and enhance your Leadership Skills.

We are looking for people who are at the start or in the middle of their own leadership development and who have a strong desire to develop personally.

The programme offers a limited number of 14 places which will be offered following consideration of received applications.

The Evolving Leadership Programme will be run by Highridge HR Consultancy who have in-depth experience of delivering high quality leadership and development programmes.

This programme has been developed with the intention that attendees will take part in the entire set of modules and therefore develop themselves throughout, whilst gaining a better understanding of how to put these learning principles into action.

The sessions will be challenging, interactive and inspiring. They will help delegates to learn best practice in Leadership and Management, client care and solving problems. There will be continuity with application between sessions to maintain momentum and to enable attendees to build on their experience throughout the programme.

The programme will consist of the following:

  • 1 hour introduction to the programme (online)
  • The following half day interactive sessions. Please note that that these sessions will run face to face from 9am to 1pm at a venue in central Leeds.
  • The final two sessions on Presentation Skills will run together as a full day from 9am till 5pm.

  • All delegates will receive Workplace and Agile EQ Disc profiles which will be incorporated into the programme and 2 individual coaching sessions.
  • A Coaching Call to run through any concerns/areas of development.
  • Delegates will be given supporting notes and checklists to use as practical guidelines in day-to-day work and some time will be devoted in each session to allow the group to discuss the real life situations experienced (thus enabling sharing of ideas/suggested improvements).
  • Successful delegates will also be invited to attend the Annual Dinner of the Insurance Institute of Leeds in February 2025 when they will be presented with their graduation certificates.

The course is scheduled to start on Wednesday 15th May 2024 with sessions running on the set dates shown with a break over the summer. The last module is due to finish on Wednesday 23rd October 2024.

With numbers limited to a maximum of 14 delegates we will require a strong commitment from members. Please complete the attached application form to outline why we should consider you for a place.
