Over 30,000 people working in insurance were reached during ICAW in over 225 offices in the UK and Ireland with news of the work we do to help insurance people in need. Alongside the distribution of display boxes filled with freebies and leaflets we ran an event ‘Managing mental health and developmental disability in the workplace' as part of the Insurance Institute of Birmingham's lunchtime lecture series.

The week finished with a spectacular evening of classic films played by The London Phoenix Orchestra at Cadogan Hall, London.

Thank You to everyone who made the week such a success.

Sue Banbury, our charities officer says...

"Due to the very nature of the work that I do with Insurance Charities, I am not always able to advertise the help that we are regularly giving, but rest assured, I know that Insurance Charities has made significant differences to people's lives in Leicestershire.

If you think that you or anyone you know that has worked within the insurance industry could benefit, please do not hesitate to contact me confidentially and I will be happy to talk with you".

President's Message

"Thanks for everybody's support during Insurance Charities Awareness Week. As my chosen charity for my presidential year it is great to see engagement from both PFS and CII members.

Watch out for more events as the year progresses. It is important that we continue to raise awareness and we should not rest on our laurels!"
