CII Examination techniques
This three-hour workshop (which will include a break) will aid all those who are taking CII or PFS examinations. It is a generic overview delivered by Alan Chandler, who is one of the most popular insurance presenters in the UK, and who has been both tutor and examiner for many different CII subjects. This interactive course will deal with how to impress the examiner, looking at the different examination terminology and what the examiner expects when they use key phrases. The workshop will explore a range of study techniques to see which ones are most appropriate for you, as well as looking at how to time manage both in respect of revision and the actual exam.

Consumer Duty and Multi-Occupancy update
We are now live with Consumer Duty the FCA has urged firms to get on with it! The Duty will mean that consumers should receive communications they can understand, products and services that meet their needs/provide evidenced fair value, and they get the customer support they need, when they need it. The current cost of living squeeze makes it all the more vital consumers get fair value, and this should also benefit the competitiveness of the industry as firms strive to offer the best to compete for customers.

Webinar – Property Insurance: Dealing with Underinsurance and Premium Increases in 2022
A combination of higher materials and labour costs will mean insurers are likely to need 9.6% increases just to cover rebuild cost inflation in the UK. However, given most need additional rate strength of around 6% to balance their loss-making property books, this will mean policyholders looking at rate increases of around 15% in 2022 on top of the 2021 increases!
