Speaker: Alison Cooper FCII Dip PFS
Wednesday 18th July 2018
Starting at 3pm, a pizza buffet will be available from 5pm for a 30 minute recess at Pizza Express 32-34 Earl St, Maidstone, Kent ME14 1PF
The aim of this three hour session is to help candidates to discover the art of learning the CII/PFS way, to discover shortcuts but still maximise marks.
At the end of this event, the delegate will have learned:
- How to study & prepare for the CII exams (both multiple choice and written);
- Short cuts to effective study & revision;
- Multiple choice questions & multiple response;
- Coursework – how to approach it & how it differs from written exams.
- The different techniques required to master Mixed Assessment (General Insurance Diploma units)
Mixed Assessment is a combination of a multiple choice exam and written coursework to be completed within an 18 month timeframe
Alison is an independent training specialist, with over 28 years experience within the insurance industry. She has enthusiasm for delivering insurance subjects, both general insurance & financial planning, which is reflected in the successful pass rates achieved by many of her delegates sitting the CII exams.
Also as a past CII Senior Examiner & Marker, Alison can share an invaluable insight into the best techniques for preparing & sitting the exams
This demonstrates the quality of an event and that it meets CII member CPD scheme requirements.
3 hours' CPD can be claimed for this event if relevant to your learning and development needs.
It is recommended that you keep any evidence of the CPD activity you have completed and upload copies to the recording tool as the CII may ask to see this if your record is selected for review. Details of the scheme can be viewed online at www.cii.co.uk/cpd.
