WEBINAR: Claims Inflation

Over the last 12 months we've all seen a rise in the cost of living as the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has increased.

A number of factors have led to this increase including higher energy prices and the cost of transport-relates factors such as fuel. Strong global demand, supply chain issues and shipping costs have also added to price pressures.

Here we look at how these factors are influencing the claims trends we're seeing and the impact of claims costs as a result.

By the end of this session, participants will:-

• Understand the reasons for increases in claims costs
• Have discussed practical measures to mitigate the impact of cost increases

James Rees – Aviva Claims finance lead for property, working with domestic and commercial property lines. Prior to joining Aviva, James worked in external audit and transaction services at EY, whilst studying Chartered Accountancy.

Stuart Murray - Senior Claims Service Manager with over 34 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining Aviva in 2015 Stuart worked for AIG, Eagle Star/Zurich and Ecclesiastical Insurance where he has gained a back ground in underwriting, customer service and claims management roles.
