Join us for our second IINI Masterclass of our 2024-2025 season focused on the very topical subject of vulnerable customers. We'll be joined by two industry leading speakers, Adrian Golifer and Maeve Monaghan. Session 1 - 'The Regulatory Landscape - Identifying and dealing with Vulnerable Customers' Adrian Golifer is a renowned compliance consultant who has over 30 years' experience in financial services compliance, risk management and regulation. Having worked for the FCA for 13 years, where he supervised a wide range of firms (including those in General Insurance), Adrian now consults firms on implementing and embedding the FCA's consumer duty and vulnerable customer frameworks. Adrian's session will give attendees a clear and practical sense of what the FCA expects firms to understand and deliver in responding to the needs of vulnerable customers, helping to deliver good outcomes to those customers. Session 2 - 'Just a Minute (JAM) of Patience' Maeve Monaghan is the CEO of NOW Group, an award winning social enterprise that supports people with barriers to employment and learning into the workforce. The NOW Group operates a number of successful social enterprise businesses including Loaf Catering, Gauge Impact and JAM Card. Loaf Catering is a social enterprise operating four cafes and an outside catering business. Gauge Impact supports organisations across the third, private, public and philanthropy sectors in the UK and the Republic of Ireland to measure, evaluate and communicate their social impact. JAM Card is a social innovation developed by NOW Group participants. It offers a simple and discreet way of communicating that someone needs ‘Just a Minute’ in social or business settings. There are over 160,000 people using either a physical JAM Card or the app on their smartphone worldwide. Over 1,000 businesses are JAM Card friendly, displaying their commitment to providing better customer service.
