Improve your memory
Improve your memory - with a view to passing examinations
This presentation will look at a number of different methods to help improve how we absorb and recall information. The techniques discussed will be geared towards securing the marginal gains that can frequently make the difference between passing and failing an exam. CII members who are studying for their exams are likely to benefit from this session although the techniques covered are not just suitable for examination candidates but can also be adopted by others who just want to improve their memory skills.
At the end of this event, delegates will gain valuable insight into:
- Looking after themselves and why this aids and improves memory
- Getting ‘mind fit’
- Making the decision to pass the exam
- Testing themselves effectively
- Variety of traditional study
- Using all of the senses to stimulate memory
- De-cluttering their mind
- Committing to long-term memory.
This demonstrates the quality of an event and that it meets CII member CPD scheme requirements.
1 hour's CPD can be claimed for this event if relevant to your learning and development needs.
It is recommended that you keep any evidence of the CPD activity you have completed and upload copies to the recording tool as the CII may ask to see this if your record is selected for review. Details of the scheme can be viewed online at www.cii.co.uk/cpd.
