9:15 am – 12:15 pm (UK time)

The Insurance Institute of Aberdeen is happy to announce that their next event will focus on the new rules for defined benefit pension transfer.

With pension transfers remaining a hot topic for discussion of late across the Financial Planning community, we thought it would be beneficial to bring in some outside assistance in advance of the next set of regulatory changes being introduced in October this year, specifically the APTA.

John Reynolds, of Expert Pensions, whom many of you may know as a specialist in this area, has agreed to join us again con 6th September 2018 to provide us with some seminars on the subject.

Although we have been able to support the cost of bringing John to Aberdeen, this is a paid for event. Tickets are priced at £25 per session

Session 1 (09.15 – 12.15):

Defined Benefit Transfers - Understanding the new pension transfer rules and APTA

Please note you may also want to book a place at our other session on the day, "How to use FCA APTA critical evaluation methodology in your suitability reports and pension exams". Please be aware that this will be charged separately.

Please feel free to come along at any time after 08.30 for coffee.

There is also a buffet lunch available (from 12.30) for those attending either the morning or afternoon sessions, included in the cost of the event.

This should hopefully provide you with the opportunity to discuss the subject with your peers and ask John any questions which may come up during the sessions.

Spaces are limited so please book soon to avoid disappointment!
