Presentation Overview:

In this session Geoff Frewin will speak about the benefits of Mindfulness in the workplace.

Geoff will give tips and techniques of how to improve our mental wellbeing and help us focus and achieve our goals at work and at the same time reducing stress and anxiety.

Speakers: Geoff Frewin

Following a serious RTA, Geoff was recommended to receive cognitive behaviour therapy and mindfulness. Being impressed by the positive impact Mindfulness had on his life, Geoff studied Mindfulness for 5 years and he is now a fully qualified Mindfulness practitioner.

He is also a member of the Complimentary Medical Association and he has a diploma in sports psychology. In addition, he is a Mental Health first aider and travels to Ageas Sites presenting 1-2-1 sessions with their employees.

Audience:

The session is aimed at all CII/PFS members or guests with an interest in improving their mental wellbeing in the workplace.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of the session, attendees will:

  • To gain an understanding of the benefits of Mindfulness
  • How it can reduce overall anxiety and stress whilst increasing focus and performance
  • Using simple techniques over a short space of time to easily recognise specific benefits
