Insurance Valuations

The Insurance Institute of Bristol is delighted to welcome Susan Orringe to present a seminar on insurance valuations.

Key elements of the programme will include:

How to insure precious items
What is, and what isn't, covered
Differing types of valuation
Items that have been damaged and subsequently restored

Susan Orringe has over 20 years experience in the antiques field. Prior to starting her own business in 2003, Susan was an auctioneer and valuer for a leading provincial auction room. For 10 years she was a Fine Art and Antiques adjuster for an international firm of Loss Adjusters.

Susan works for the BBC as an antiques valuer on and off screen for the popular television shows Flog It and Bargain Hunt. She is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Arts and Antiques Division and has dual knowledge of the antiques and insurance markets.
