COBS and Croissants

An informal get-together over breakfast to discuss current issues in financial services.

Clarke Willmott are delighted to invite you to 'COBS and croissants'; the first of our new quarterly financial services socials with local practitioners.

A great opportunity to catch up with each other and the members of our financial services team in Bristol over some decent coffee, delicious pastries and hot breakfast cobs (rolls to the southerners among us!)

As well as tasty treats and a relaxed networking opportunity, our quarterly sessions will highlight and open for discussion the latest court cases, regulatory updates, current hot topics in financial services or what we're seeing a lot of (or expect to) as financial services lawyers. All extremely exciting or perhaps just stuff which could be handy for you to know.

On 12 March we'll take a brief look at recent issues including SIPP provider duties, contingent charging on defined benefit pension transfers, changes to the Claims Management Company regime and a brief touch on Exit Day. But don't let all that put you off - we mentioned free breakfast?
