Slips, Trips, Falls & Injuries is a presentation that examines the science behind understanding whether a reported injury is consistent with the incident or accident.

This methodical process involves studying the physics of the human body in conjunction with the geography of the accident location and the activity taking place at the time the accident occurred. Participants in this presentation will gain insight into biomechanics and how it may be useful in a variety of matters, from a slip in a company reception foyer to a multi-vehicle collision.

The presentation features interactive elements, a question-and-answer session, and real-life case study examples with digital footage.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session delegates will have gained an insight into:

  • What is biomechanics?
  • What can we learn and the limitations?
  • Techniques and tools used
