When it comes to disruption, increased competition and changing consumer behaviours in the wine industry, champagne has experienced it all in recent years as new world and old world wineries have begun to produce top quality wines to challenge the traditional producers. There are parallels with the insurance and financial services industries, which have also been experiencing similar trends in respect to the services and products we offer in light of changing consumer behaviours. Through tasting 5 sparkling wines from different corners of the world, Jeff Heasman will draw on his expertise in wines and insurance to show what lessons we can learn in insurance and financial services when it comes to innovation and competition in the market.
