The IASG has a number of committees who all work hard to provide a full membership proposition to individuals who work within the insurance and financial services profession across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.
Directly aligned to the main Society, the IASGs Professional Development Group (PDG) develops a full programme of activity to accommodate the educational and CPD needs of members of the IASG who work across the general insurance market.
Financial services members are serviced by the IASGs Club FS (Club Financial Services) a sub-group formulated to provide seminars and activities aimed at individuals who work within the financial services sector. The group works closely with colleagues from the PFS to provide technical events that will both engage and enlighten our members.
The Young Professionals Group aims to promote the CII and the IASG to people new to the industry; this is achieved through a number of networking events and study sessions that the group organise on a regular basis.
The Sports and Social Committee organises a wide range of social activities including an annual pub quiz, golf days and sports tournaments that offer IASG members the chance to meet their peers and network in a more informal manner.
If you are interested in becoming involved in these committees, or indeed the wider council, then please do not hesitate to get in touch with the IASG President.
