8:00 am – 9:15 am (UK time)

At our AGM in April 2018 our President Kieran Gallagher announced his intention to establish a Claims Club, an initiative, open to all members of our community and not those involved in day-to-day operational claims.

The Claims Club will focus on bringing interesting and topical claims issues to the table, providing a forum for education and discussion.

For our inaugural gathering, this CPD Event will focus on: Debunking the mystique around workplace accidents

Learning objectives:
By attending the event delegates will be able to identify:

1. What is the current scale of the workplace accidents
2. Where do the biggest problem areas exist
3. What the Insured can do to mitigate

The seminar will be delivered by Dr Rajen Lavingia, PhD, MEng, BEng at Envista Forensics. Rajen is the Technical Lead of Civil/Structural division of Envista Forensics in the EMEA region. He has 20 years of experience and has been working as a forensic engineer for a decade investigating workplace accidents and structural malperformance issues.
