U.S. Law & Jurisdiction seminar

Join us for a seminar on U.S. Law & Jurisdiction!
The U.S. Law & Jurisdiction seminar will provide a broad introduction to insurance, law, and litigation in the U.S. The session covers key differences between the U.S. and English law in resolving insurance disputes. The session covers:
- Court systems;
- Claims handling;
- Bad faith, punitive damages, and extra-contractual exposures;
- Discovery / disclosure / production;
- Trial; and
- Costs.
Most of the topics lead naturally to more detailed seminars. It’s a fun hour and a great first step in understanding how the U.S. system works.
Delivering the seminar are Jason Reeves, Hernán Cipriotti, and Tom Papa from Zelle. All three are dual qualified in the U.S. (Texas and Minnesota) and England; their current caseloads are a mix of various U.S. and English 1st and 3rd party matters.
