This seminar will focus on key issues relating to dealing with vulnerable customers, and will particularly emphasise factors that Brokers should be aware of.

At the end of the seminar delegates should:

  • Have a clear understanding of what a vulnerable customer is and why it is important to be able to identify them
  • Be aware of what brokers should be doing to comply with the ABI/BIBA Code of Good Practice relating to vulnerable customers.
  • Understand some key legal issues which may apply to vulnerable customers, such as undue influence and powers of attorney.

Neil Frankland is a dedicated professional indemnity insurance lawyer. His work involves helping brokers and construction professionals (and the insurers of professional risks) in defending claims made for compensation against them – and also policy advisory work.

Neil is recognised by the legal directories, and clients, as a leader in his field.
