Retired Members Luncheon

The Highlight of the Year
Time flies and yet another year has passed since last years Retired Members Christmas Lunch.
Carly Dunningham, President of the Insurance Institute of Liverpool thanked the Institutes Retired Members and welcomed them to the 2018 Christmas lunch. Carly stated what everyone thought that the retired members lunch was a highlight in the calendar.
The Venue was new to all, the very top floor of the Racquets Club. Old friends met again and there was so much laughter. There was also a birthday to celebrate and athough the group did not sing “Happy Birthday” to Mervyn Davison (Past President) everyone raised a glass and wished him well.
Over the years and at the lunches, firm friendships have been made and there is a very welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. Marie McAnaulty (Past President) was there to introduce the very few who didn’t know each other.
The lunch was a great success and enjoyed by all.
