IIL has arranged for a Mersey Tunnel Tour to take you on a unique behind the scenes look at the famous Queensway Mersey Tunnel, which opened in 1934. The tour is limited to 20 people starting at George's Dock Building.

Join us for a unique opportunity to visit and see behind the scenes at the Wirral Model Engineering Society miniature railway within Royden Park, Wirral.

Following the success of our previous visit to this fascinating Wirral based brewery, we are delighted to announce that a further tour has been arranged. The tour starts at the 3000l brewhouse where you will learn about the brief history of Glen Affric Brewery and how a brewery with a Scottish name ended up in Birkenhead! Then go next door into their other unit where we house all our fermentation tanks and hear about what is considered to be the most important part of the process: fermentation. Cross the street to the packaging unit where you will see our bright beer tanks and canning lines and hear about how they can their beers. Places are strictly limited to 10 people for this event on a first-come first-served (excuse the pun!) basis.
