    • Wayne Dutton, Senior Manager, PWC

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS ON A THURSDAY NOT OUR USUAL FRIDAY SLOT

Following the Autumn Budget on 22 November 2017 Wayne Dutton and colleagues from PwC Liverpool will present an analysis and commentary on measures announced and introduced by the Chancellor Philip Hammond.

The Autumn Budget is likely to be the only major financial statement of the year and by the 7 December PwC will have been able to analyse any changes, properly consider them, and potentially discussed the application of any new measures with HMRC.

Whilst it’s always difficult to predict what is going to be in the Budget, we may see:

• Changes to Inheritance Tax Reliefs for business and agricultural property,
• an update on what VAT may look like post Brexit,
• more tinkering with Stamp Duty Land Tax, or
• will David Gauke’s announcement that there will be no further fundamental changes to pension tax relief in July mean just that?

The presentation will focus on measures that are likely to have the greatest impact on a client’s tax position and help you to understand and plan for this going forward.

The target audience will be financial planners, paraplanners, investment professionals, accountants and legal professionals.

The learning objectives will be to:

1. Understand the fiscal impact of the 2017 Budget and how this may affect the financial affairs of individuals and businesses.

2. Help advisors to understand how the fiscal changes may affect and impact advice given to clients in the past and in future.
The learning outcome will be for the audience to come away with a clear understanding of fiscal changes announced in the 2017 Autumn Budget so that they can factor these changes into future advice.

Please reserve your place at this event early by registering here.
