Financial Liverpool - Red flags in 'sustainable investments'

Thursday, 17 November 2022
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm (UK time)
    • Michael Cumberlidge, Business Development Specialist, Rathbones Group

In this seminar, Michael will discuss the meteoric rise of sustainable investing and with it the growth in products and services offering “ESG” credentials. He will explain that this has led to an increasingly opaque sector with funds, services and even corporate entities making, in some cases, outlandish sustainability claims. In this session he will look to cover “5 Red Flags” of sustainable investing, to assist you in your search for a reliable investment partner.

The target audience will be financial planners, paraplanners, legal professionals, accountants and investment professionals.

Michael Cumberlidge is a Business Development Specialist within the Rathbones Distribution Team, specialising in a number of areas, including the sustainable investment market. Michael developed his knowledge of the sustainable investment market through undertaking the CFA: ESG investing certificate, CISI Responsible investment certificate and the Cambridge Institute of Sustainable Leadership: Sustainable Finance certificate, as well as practical experience within his role at Rathbones.
