What is Modern Slavery?
Did you know that many people are not aware of the definition of modern slavery and so are not able to recognise the signs when they could be all around them.
This could mean that there are people we all come into contact with as we go about our daily business that are affected, with no one suspecting because the definition of modern slavery is not fully understood throughout our communities. It is often a hidden crime, but could be affecting your brother, your next door neighbour, your best friend or the person who does your nails.
Do you know the definition of modern slavery? Do you realise that criminal exploitation is a growing problem in the UK especially in relation to young men and county lines?
Would you know what signs to look out for? What can you do if you suspect someone is being exploited?
If you would like answers to these questions and a chance to find out more about the important work that Causeway undertakes, please register for this webinar.
