Session 1 - Alan Bridle, UK Economist, Bank of Ireland – ‘UK Economic update’

Alan Bridle has been UK Economist for Bank of Ireland UK for nearly 15 years and has over 30 years experience in the banking industry. A renowned economist, Alan will give attendees an insight into the current economic outlook for Northern Ireland and the likely trends we will see in the economy going forward into 2025 and beyond. 

Session 2 - Debbie Connolly, Financial Planning Director, AAB Wealth – ‘Budgets, Inflation & Your Future: Stay Ahead of the Curve’

Debbie Connolly is a Financial Planning Director at AAB Wealth, based in Northern Ireland. She works closely with clients to understand their goals and aspirations, focusing on what truly matters to them now and in the future. Debbie simplifies complex financial advice matters so clients can concentrate on what’s most important for themselves and their families.

With nearly 20 years of experience in financial services, Debbie advises on all aspects of financial planning, including specialist areas such as Inheritance Tax and Trust planning. She holds Fellow status with the Personal Finance Society, is a Chartered Financial Planner, and is a past Chair of the PFS Committee in Northern Ireland.

Outside of work, Debbie is a passionate fly fisherwoman and proudly represents the Irish Ladies Fly Fishing Team.
