IINI Masterclass Series 2025-2026 (September 2025)

Join us for our first IINI Masterclass of our new 2025-2026 season. We are delighted to have two sessions from industry-leading experts in Cyber Fraud and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Session 1 - Cyber and Fraud Awareness for you and your business

Audrey Doherty is a Cyber Awareness Lead at AIB. She has twenty-five years retail banking experience and prior to this role was the Branch Manager of the AIB Drogheda, Co. Louth.  Audrey has extensive experience of managing fraud cases and supporting impacted customers.

John Haren is Cyber Awareness Lead at AIB. He has over 15 years’ experience in cybersecurity across a range of industry sectors and has developed cybersecurity awareness and training programs in large and small organisations.  He is an associate lecturer in Information Security at the Open University and is a PhD candidate at Dublin City University where his research focuses on continuing professional development for cybersecurity professionals in Ireland.

During this session attendees will gain an understanding of the main forms of social engineering that lead to fraud, invoice redirection scams that businesses fall victim to, emerging cyber threats (including AI-related threats) and what individuals can do to reduce their own cyber risk.

Session 2 - Artificial Insurance: Teaching Old Policies New Tricks

This talk will demystify AI for insurance professionals. Through real-world examples, this session explains what AI is, what it can (and can’t) do, and how you can use it confidently in your day-to-day work. You will hopefully walk away feeling a lot less confused about what the future holds.
