Thursday, 20 October 2022
8:30 am – 11:15 am (UK time)
    • Arnab Das, Head of EMEA and EM Macro Research, Invesco
    • Branko Bjelobaba, Branko Ltd

Join us for our first face-to-face Masterclass since 2020 - it's great to be back and we have a great line-up: Arnab Das presenting on the World Economy and Branko Bjelobaba updating on FCA Consumer Duty and Product Governance for GI.

Arnab's session will see him sharing his extensive knowledge and experience to provide a fascinating - and extremely timely - session on the world economy.

Branko's session will discuss how the FCA want to see a higher level of consumer protection in retail financial markets, where firms compete vigorously in the interests of consumers and their wish to drive a healthy and successful financial services system in which firms can thrive and consumers can make informed choices about financial products and services.

This General Insurance focused session will also include an update on Product Value Assessments that have to be completed by 30 September (note the FCA have criticised insurers for their lack of progress with this) and have given brokers an extension of 90 days so as to prevent customer harm. Both brokers and insurers have an important role to play and this session will ensure you understand what it is you have to do.

The event will be held in the Clayton Hotel, 22 Ormeau Avenue, Belfast, BT2 8HS, tea, coffee and breakfast will be served from 8.30am starting at 9.00am on the 20th October 2022.

Both face to face masterclasses in this series will be provided FREE OF CHARGE,
